How to Wear Statement Jewelry

Many people are intimidated by this trend, because they are unsure how to wear it. However, adding a piece or two can really take your style to the next level!

Wearing statement jewelry is easy, if you know a couple of key elements:

The first is to know how to pair your bold jewelry. For instance, if you wear a large necklace, keep your earrings small (or wear none at all). Pair your statement necklace with a bold cocktail ring instead. Wearing statement earrings? Pair them with a bold bracelet and cocktail ring.

The next is to keep in mind what you are wearing. If you are wearing solid colors with simple necklines, go for a bold and colorful necklace. Wearing something with a detailed neckline, and a lot of texture? Go for a long layered necklace, or just stick with earrings, bracelet, or cocktail ring instead.

Don't be afraid to wear more than one piece of statement jewelry at a time, just don't over do it! If you are still unsure, or intimidated by this trend, start off with one cocktail ring or bib necklace. Most importantly is to find something that speaks to your personality, not just wear something because it's trendy. Jewelry is all about expression, so have fun!
